604-5 Employee Evaluation

Policy: The Company will make efforts to periodically review employee work performance. The performance review process will take place annually, or as business needs dictate. Employees may specifically request that their manager assist them in developing a performance improvement plan at any time. The performance review process is a means for increasing the quality and value of employee work performance and the company culture. Employee initiative, effort, attitude, job knowledge, and other factors will be addressed. A positive job performance review does not guarantee a pay raise or continued employment. Pay raises and promotions are based on numerous factors, only one of which is job performance.

Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to provide clarity on the University's employee performance evaluation process.
