This course is designed as a culminating experience in the professional role development of the student nurse. Emphasis is on integrating qualities of accountability, advocacy, integrity, lifelong learning, clinical reasoning, competence, caring and compassion towards building confidence as the student transitions into the role of the novice nurse. The Nurse of the Future competencies, the AACN Baccalaureate Essentials, and NCLEX test plan form the foundation of this course.
