Program Description:
The Master in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance prepares students to assume a leadership role in managing their organization’s fiscal policy and operations. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform creatively, ethically, and effectively within any organization or industry, and to apply accounting practices and financial management techniques effectively in making management decisions.

It is intended that Graduates of the Aspen University Master in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance program will learn or be able to do the following:
- Ethics: Exhibit the ethical standards that provide a framework for responsible decision making in business.
- Professional Skills: Develop the critical analysis, problem solving, technical aptitude, and communication skills required in for-profit and not-for-profit organizational environments.
- Management Skills: Analyze and apply the principles and practices of planning, organizing, coordinating, directing, and oversight that are required to leverage a project’s internal interests in relation to the organization as a whole and to the total business, economic, political, technological, and social environments reflective of the particular MBA area of study.
- Management Strategies: Evaluate and select strategies to manage a project or complex organization utilizing SWOT analyses and employing of action plans.
- Finance: Apply the qualitative and quantitative finance skills needed to function successfully in either a corporate environment or as a small business owner.
