What does a full review entail
A full review requires calling a meeting of the IRB committee. Members will review the application and proposal prior to the meeting. The committee will discuss the application during the convened meeting at which a majority of the members of the IRB are present, including at least one member whose primary concerns are in nonscientific areas. For the research/project to be approved, it must receive the approval of a majority of those members present at the meeting. The doctoral candidate may be invited to answer questions from the committee during the meeting.
