N356C Adult Health I- Clinical
In this clinical course, through use of the nursing process, students begin to integrate knowledge of clinical data, pharmacologic concepts, and assessment findings to plan, prioritize, and implement direct care for adults experiencing acute and chronic health disruptions in a variety of health care settings. Students are expected to integrate the principles of cultural awareness, quality and safety, and evidence-based practice in providing holistic, client-centered care. Medical-surgical nursing skills necessary to providing care are introduced and practiced in laboratory and simulated settings. This course is not offered online.
