Policy: Aspen University confers degrees once all academic and financial obligations have been satisfied. Students are subject to the program requirements as outlined in the catalog at the time of their acceptance. Students must meet the requirements outlined on the Graduation Requirements page in the Academic Catalog in order for their degree to be conferred.
The university will not post a conferral date or release official transcripts for students who are not financially cleared by Student Accounts.
The date of conferral will be posted on the student’s transcript and diploma. The conferral date is the date on which the student is cleared by the university as having met all academic and financial requirements.
Purpose: The policy is to ensure consistent information regarding the requirement needed to graduate from Aspen University.
