307-5 Course Substitutions

Policy: Except in extreme cases, students are not permitted to make substitutions to required Aspen University courses. If students feel they have sufficient cause and documentation to support their request, they may request a course substitution by filing an Administrative Appeal.  Appeals are reviewed by the Dean/Program Director of that student's program and the Registrar.

Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to assist students in extreme situations who wish to take a course not within their program of study, but can document that they need to complete those specific classes (i.e. to meet a job requirement) as a part of their degree completion.
