Policy: The University's language of instruction is English and students are expected to be proficient in the English language (secondary or high school level) prior to acceptance into the University. English language services are not provided by the University. Applicants to the University self-disclose on their applications for admission whether or not English is their primary language. Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency by meeting one of the criteria listed on the International Students page in the Academic Catalog. Proof of English proficiency is reviewed by the Registrar's Office during the initial admissions process and application review. Students who cannot demonstrate English proficiency are denied admissions to the University.
Purpose: The purpose of this policy is inform potential and current students of language of instruction within the University and requirements for admission decisions. This policy applies to all potential and current students seeking admission to the University.
