Continuous Enrollment Policy
Students are required to maintain Continuous Enrollment throughout their degree program. To maintain continuous enrollment, students must either be currently active in a course or scheduled to begin a course within the next two start dates. Students must attend (matriculate in) courses in which they are registered. Additionally, students must continue to engage in courses, not exceeding 14 consecutive days of nonparticipation, see Participation Policy.
In the event the student does not attend a course within the next two starts of their last date of attendance and is not on an approved Leave of Absence, the student will be administratively withdrawn from the university.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The University will no longer accept readmission applications after February 15, 2026, see the Readmission Policy. Students who are withdrawn after this date will not have the opportunity to return. Students are strongly encouraged to maintain their enrollment.
Continuous Enrollment for Federal Student Aid
A student receiving Federal Student Aid must make progress through a program at a rate that ensures the student will not be administratively withdrawn due to violating Aspen University’s Continuous Enrollment policy. Students who fail to maintain Continuous Enrollment, as defined above, may lose their eligibility for Federal Student Aid and may have reduced access to funds.
