302-2 Add Drop Period

Policy: Students may add courses both prior to a course starting and through Day 3 of a course start. Students may drop a course prior to Day 8 of a course. Students may withdraw from courses through Day 39 of a course. More information can be found in the Course Late Registration and Drop/Withdrawals Policy in the Academic Catalog. Students dropping all classes may become inactive. Please refer to the Continuous Enrollment policy in the Academic Catalog.

Courses dropped prior to Day 8 will not appear on a student's transcripts and will not count toward cumulative GPA. Courses from which a student withdraws during Days 8-39 will appear on the student's official transcripts and, while they will not count toward the students cumulative GPA, they will count toward credits attempted for Satisfactory Academic Progress and Good Academic Standing.

Purpose: The purpose of this policy is to provide directions of the last day to add or drop courses without academic or financial penalty for that course.
